Your Responsibilities

As our new case officer, you will be part of a team whose overall responsibility is the processing and decision-making in application and supervision matters according to the Alcohol Act and the Tobacco and Similar Products Act.

This is an exciting position where you will work closely with the business community by informing and advising operators regarding alcohol and tobacco laws. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate closely with other authorities such as the police and rescue services. We place great importance on teamwork and the development of the team. We are looking for a team player who understands that success comes from uplifting others. We solve things together and are curious about digital development and how we can enhance our work with it.

Tasks

Your tasks will include:

• Contacting permit holders and the public regarding licensed activities involving the sale of alcohol and tobacco.
• Preparing investigations and presenting cases to the environmental committee.
• Participating in training on the Alcohol Act.
• Supervising operators based on alcohol and tobacco laws. This means that some work will be performed during inconvenient hours.
• Taking responsibility for and conducting improvement, quality, and development work within the area.

Your Qualifications

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we see it as crucial that you have a relevant university degree. You have both knowledge and experience in investigative work and have worked with government operations, such as supervision and assessment criteria for decision-making. You have good Swedish skills in both spoken and written form and hold a B driver's license. We consider it an advantage if you have knowledge and experience in alcohol and tobacco legislation, economics, and legal investigative methods.

You are an empathetic and positive person who is attentive to the needs of others and has the ability to inspire others with your positive attitude. You communicate both verbally and in writing in a well-structured and clear manner and adapt your communication to your target audience. You are someone who sees opportunities instead of obstacles and can distinguish between issues and individuals. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
