Jana Fastigheter AB is a family-owned real estate company that owns and manages rental properties consisting of approximately 500 rental apartments and about 100 commercial premises. The property portfolio is located in attractive areas in central Halmstad and Hyltebruk.

Part-time Accounting Assistant

We are now looking for a part-time accounting assistant for at least 50% (which may be increased) to a wonderful entrepreneurial family business in the real estate sector where you will have the opportunity to grow and develop together with the company.

As an accounting assistant, you will have a broad and varied role where you work with ongoing accounting and support Jana Fastigheter's accounting manager in daily financial tasks. The role is suitable for you who want to further develop within accounting and take the next step in your career.

Responsibilities

Your tasks within ongoing accounting will include:

• Bank reconciliations as well as incoming and outgoing payments
• Accounts payable - coding, approval management, and eventually payments
• Reconciliation of tax accounts
• VAT declarations
• Support in the development and streamlining of internal routines and processes

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for someone with a university degree or equivalent and approximately 3–5 years of experience in similar tasks. It is advantageous if you have previously worked in the real estate sector. You have good IT skills, and experience with Open Business is a plus. You also have good Excel skills and an interest in developing and streamlining work processes using Excel.
