ABOUT THE ROLE As an accountant at PS Energi, you will have a broad and independent role within accounting, follow-up, and reporting.
You will work closely with the CFO and other colleagues in the finance team and become an important part of all tasks handled in the finance department. This means you will gain a good overall view of the business and an understanding of how the financial flow connects, from ongoing bookkeeping to reporting.
The work follows a clear monthly structure with recurring deadlines, creating predictability and structure in everyday life. The role involves qualified accounting work where accuracy and quality are central.
Responsibilities:
Ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations
Accounts receivable and accounts payable
Month-end closing and participation in annual closing
VAT reporting
Involvement in group reporting
Monitoring credit levels and overdue receivables
Dialogue with customers regarding payments
Administrative tasks related to the finance department
The position is located in Halmstad and the work is performed on-site.
ABOUT YOU You are a secure and self-sufficient accountant who thrives in a role where structure, accuracy, and responsibility are central. You enjoy working closely with numbers, have a natural quality mindset, and react when something doesn't add up.
At the same time, you are a team player. You understand that a well-functioning finance function is built on collaboration, clear communication, and unpretentiousness. You have no problem switching between concentrated closing work and dialogue with colleagues or customers. You appreciate working in an environment with a good atmosphere and a team that helps each other.
You are comfortable with deadlines, appreciate clear reporting structures, and have the ability to remain calm even when the pace is higher during month-end reporting and closing.
We believe you have:
Degree in finance
Several years of experience in qualified accounting work
Experience with month-end closing
Good understanding of income statements and balance sheets
Experience working towards fixed reporting deadlines
Very good skills in Excel
