About the Position
In the role of case officer with us, you will primarily work with the administration's registration, record-keeping, dispatching decisions and documents, as well as related matters.
This includes, for example, registering documents from the board and monitoring our official functional mailbox and its handling regarding the registration of incoming documents, requests for public documents, and the assessment of these. You will be the administration's contact person for the region's data protection officer regarding questions about data protection and deviation management.
You have a coordinating role and drive development related to our information management, and you are the administration's archive coordinator. The assignment includes quality assurance of processes within your areas of knowledge and responsibility, as well as being a close and proactive support to the operations.
In the case officer assignment, other administrative cross-departmental responsibilities and tasks will be included. We are on an exciting development journey where you have the opportunity to help shape parts of the job's content, and we expect you to develop existing structures and working methods and streamline with the help of digital solutions.
You will work closely and together with the administration's board secretaries and management in areas related to political case management and overall quality work.
You will participate in Region Halland's registrar network and collaborate with other registrars to develop and quality assure our joint processes. You will also participate in the work with internal control as well as operational planning and follow-up.
The working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00, with the possibility of flexible hours.

You will be part of the Finance Department within the Management Administration.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a degree in social sciences or another relevant education related to the assignment, or alternatively, education and work experience that the employer deems relevant for the position.
You have good knowledge and previous experience working with registration, records, public operations, disclosure of public documents, and confidentiality assessments. Furthermore, we see that you have knowledge of the laws and regulations governing public operations and the registrar's function and responsibilities, particularly public access and confidentiality legislation, administrative and municipal law.
We also see that you have good knowledge of working in case and document management systems.
As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and driven by development. We value innovation and streamlining using digital solutions, as well as the ability to develop routines and application documents for your area. The work often occurs in collaboration with colleagues, which requires you to be attentive, have good communication and collaboration skills, great integrity, and a clear ability to adapt to situations.
To ensure good and secure communication with colleagues, customers, and other contacts, we require good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
