Administrative Controller for the Social Administration in Falkenberg Municipality

The Social Administration's activities encompass both regulatory functions and service delivery in the areas of home care, special housing, health and medical care, support for people with disabilities, and support and treatment. To support the various operations, there are three staff functions: finance, digitalization and administration, as well as quality and development. Within the quality and development function, quality strategists, business developers, committee secretaries, communicators, investigators, MAS, MAR, and an administrative controller work. The tasks of the quality and development function primarily rest on three different parts: auditing, development, and investigation.

The Social Administration is in the midst of an important development journey, where governance, analysis, and quality are becoming increasingly crucial for creating a safe, sustainable, and legally secure welfare system. We are looking for an analytical and driven administrative controller who wants to be a key person in the work of governance, monitoring, and development of our operations. In this role, you will combine qualified analysis with strategic coordination and close collaboration with both management and the political organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an administrative controller, you will be responsible for coordinating the administration's goal-setting, planning, and monitoring processes. You will write the annual operational plan, the activity report, and the goal analysis that provides the committee and management with a clear picture of goal fulfillment and areas for development. You will analyze and prepare materials for the budget, conduct environmental monitoring, and work with directions and indicators for the internal budget.

An important part of the assignment is also to coordinate the committee's work with internal control. You will compile materials, prepare risk analysis and control plans, conduct controls, and follow up on the control plan.

The role also involves active participation in the committee's case management process. You will participate in preparation, chair preparation, and presidium preparation, plan cases for the social committee, review documents, and support managers and case handlers in the process.

QUALIFICATIONS

You should be an educated political scientist or have another equivalent higher education. We are looking for someone with an analytical mindset, good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, and who enjoys a role where you can be both a coordinator, writer, and advisor. You have the ability to work in a structured manner, are meticulous, take initiative, and are quality-conscious. It is important to be able to see the whole picture and to be able to work both independently and in a group, as well as contribute to a good working climate in the group. You should have prior experience working in a politically governed organization. For the position, it is required that you have the ability to work both strategically and operationally.
