About the Job

At the Tax Information Service, you are the face of the Swedish Tax Agency. You answer questions via phone about taxes from individuals and guide them on how to best use our e-services. You build trust by being attentive and having a good attitude. You take responsibility for keeping yourself updated on news and changes within your work area. Using various digital information channels, you also seek answers during the conversation with the customer. Some questions are simple and quick to answer, while others are more complex.

In this job, you will have contact with customers all day long and meet a wide diversity of people. You work closely with your colleagues, providing and receiving support from each other. The work is qualified, and you will develop within customer service and gain knowledge in the field of taxation. You will receive an introduction and a mentor to help you plan your work. At the Tax Information Service, we work according to a fixed schedule and value a good balance between work and leisure. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00.

You will belong to the Personal Tax Department, Unit 4, located in Halmstad. In the location within the same unit, we are about 20 people.

About You

  • be able to speak and write simply and clearly in both Swedish and English

You should also have:

  • a current (at least 60 approved credits) or recently completed higher education of at least 180 credits in economics or law.

It is desirable that you have relevant work experience in customer service.

Good to Know

The employment is temporary from May 25 to August 28.

The employment is full-time. There is an opportunity in May and early June to combine any studies with the work as a tax administrator, as leave can be granted for exams, seminars, and lectures after consultation with the responsible manager.

In this job, due to the nature of the tasks, there is no possibility to work from home.

In this recruitment, we may use psychological tests.

An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
