Internship in HR at Region Halland

Region Halland is responsible for ensuring we have good healthcare and creating conditions for good health for everyone in Halland. We have a large healthcare operation that includes Halland's three hospitals, our health centers, and public dental care. We are also tasked with working on culture, public transport, business development, and community planning for sustainable development and growth in Halland.

The HR function's most important focus is to support all operations so that we continue to have engaged and competent employees and managers.

Region Halland's HR organization consists of HR strategists, HR specialists, and HR partners. Specialist and strategic functions exist within workforce supply, work environment, labor law, and follow-up and belong to the central HR department. Our HR partners are located in our various administrations and are the first support for our managers.

During your internship with us, you will receive a good introduction to how we work with development projects in both operational and strategic issues. You will, among other things, participate in our weekly meetings, attend meetings with union representatives, and take part in training aimed at work environment and competence. Depending on your interests, there is also the opportunity to gain insight into other issues and areas we work with.

Qualifications

You are studying a university degree with a focus on HR/work science and will have an internship/placement during the autumn of 2026.

You are curious with a positive attitude, self-driven, and have an unpretentious approach. We want to give you as a student the opportunity to test your knowledge in practice. Therefore, we welcome you to challenge us and bring new perspectives that can help improve our processes.

The internship must be conducted as part of a course at a university.
