ArcelorMittal Building Solutions Sweden AB is now looking for an independent accountant who wants to be an important part of the finance department during the summer. During weeks 26–32 (with a break in weeks 29–30), you will support when regular staff are on vacation and help keep the financial flows running in a safe and structured way.

Even though staffing is somewhat lower during the period, there is always someone to turn to for questions and support, and you will receive an introduction during week 26, so you have good conditions to quickly get into the work methods and routines. The role suits you who enjoys responsibility, appreciates varied tasks, and likes to be a stable piece in a team where the economy needs to run smoothly even during vacation periods.

Your main tasks

• Ongoing accounting, including:
• Posting and ongoing bookkeeping
• Daily reconciliations
• Incoming and outgoing payments via bank
• Accounts payable
• Handling supplier invoices
• Posting, matching, and approval flows
• Payments
• Accounts receivable
• Incoming payments
• Possible invoicing
• Reconciliations
• Basic handling of taxes and VAT
• Participate in monthly closing through account reconciliations
• Prepare documentation and assist the team in ongoing work
• Expense management

To succeed in the role, we see that you have

• Experience from a finance department where you have worked independently
• Good and broad experience in ongoing accounting
• Confidence in accounts payable and receivable
• Ability to handle incoming and outgoing payments via bank
• Understanding of how the components of accounting are interconnected
• Familiarity with larger business systems

It is advantageous if you also have

• Experience with the Jeeves business system and Medius invoice management system
• Handled expenses in Hogia Resa
• A background from a larger company or a broad role with multiple financial flows
