The Legal Units Primarily Work with Market Law Supervision

This means we review companies' marketing and terms in standard agreements. Our mission is to ensure that companies comply with consumer protection regulations, and we do this through supervision, information to businesses, and negotiations with industry organizations. The work in the units is conducted both nationally and internationally.

About the Job

The work consists of qualified legal tasks where you will exercise market law supervision with support from, among other things, the Marketing Act and the Contract Terms Act.

Examples of Tasks:

• Handle supervision cases and participate in supervision projects
• Prepare information and participate in information efforts for companies
• Participate in negotiations with industry organizations
• Respond to consultations
• Collaborate with other authorities and organizations, nationally and internationally
• Contact with the media

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

You have a law degree or equivalent and preferably education in or experience with market or consumer law. Experience in qualified investigative work, supervisory activities, or legal processing at an authority is an advantage. You have a very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing, both in Swedish and in English.

About the Employment

Permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period.
The work location is Karlstad.
Start date according to agreement.
Business trips occur, both nationally and internationally.
