Description

In Forshaga Municipality, we value good meetings.

Accessibility and response are important in our service to residents. We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a summer guide in our Contact Center, which serves Forshaga and Kil municipalities. The Contact Center is the residents' first contact with our municipalities and is therefore an important resource in our operations. Our goal is to provide our residents with a good response, a high level of service, and to increase the municipality's accessibility. Therefore, we are looking for someone who knows how to create good meetings, spread positive energy, and build relationships. With good communication and equal parts structure and curiosity, we focus on the rights of residents and the experiences of visitors and customers.

Job Responsibilities

In the Contact Center, we work to staff our switchboard, receive visitors, and respond to incoming inquiries via phone, email, and social media. In the role of municipal guide, you are the link between residents and our operations. You convey information, guide, and connect residents with the right person within our organization. This requires you to have your own drive and interest in seeking the information you need. The work includes managing digital services, systems, social media, and simpler processing.

Qualifications

As a municipal guide, you need to have:

  • Approved high school education
  • Experience from a service-oriented job
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Good computer skills, as we work in several systems simultaneously

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience working in similar roles
  • Additional language skills
  • Local knowledge of Forshaga

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for someone who knows how to create good meetings, spread positive energy, and build relationships. You are service-oriented, structured, curious, proactive, and have a professional approach. You are good at collaborating and confident in yourself and your role. You have the ability to quickly seek and absorb information from various sources and interpret and convey it in an easily understandable way to others. You speak clearly, articulately, and engagingly in individual meetings. You listen, communicate, and resolve situations constructively. You can work in a structured manner and can switch between different tasks, even in stressful situations or when circumstances change.

Conditions

The position is a summer temporary position scheduled between weeks 25-33. We welcome applicants who are interested in returning to us in the coming summers.

Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period.

Welcome with your application! We ask that you submit your application via our recruitment tool on our website. Information on how we handle your personal data can be found here (https://www.forshaga.se/GDPR). If for any reason you cannot apply (e.g., protected identity), please contact the advertisement's contact person for an alternative application method. We kindly decline calls from staffing and recruitment companies as well as sellers of job advertisements.
