Lars Wingefors AB is a private investment company based in Karlstad, with a portfolio of wholly and partially owned companies. The company is the main owner of the listed companies Embracer Group AB (publ), Asmodee Group AB (publ), and Coffee Stain Group AB (publ). Other major operations include an aviation business including Sola Air with scheduled flights to and from Karlstad Airport, Empterwik Rental AB (leasing company in aviation), and Täby Air Maintenance AB (service, maintenance, and spare parts for aircraft) as well as the Bröderna Wingefors group, which owns over 300,000 sqm of properties in Värmland. Additionally, the company holds several listed and primarily unlisted operations. Furthermore, the company invests in culture, charity, and other initiatives that make a difference for the company, its employees, and the local community, especially in Värmland. Although the entire group is of notable size, the parent company only has 6 employees as we believe that decisions should be made as close to the operational activities as possible.
Lars Wingefors AB is part of an entrepreneurial group with operations in real estate, aviation, investments, and geopolitical consulting. As the group grows, we are now looking for an accounting economist to strengthen our finance team, primarily working in aviation and real estate. Here, you will work closely with the business and have the opportunity to develop your skills in various areas of finance and taxation. You will become part of a humble and warm team where we support each other and have quick access to both decisions and laughter.
About the Role
As an accounting economist at Lars Wingefors AB, you will be an important part of the finance team. You will work closely with experienced colleagues within the group's finance and operational activities and initially be responsible for accounting in several of the group's smaller limited companies. In the long run, there is an opportunity to broaden the role based on interest and the needs of the business.
The work includes ongoing accounting, reconciliations, VAT, accruals, and year-end work at a level that matches your experience. You will enter an environment where the owners are close to the operations and where decision-making paths are short, creating good opportunities to influence and develop.
Your Responsibilities
- Independently manage ongoing accounting
- Conduct reconciliations, VAT reporting, and accruals
- Participate in quarterly period-end closings
- Independently handle monthly and annual closings
- Contribute to developing routines and working methods and provide administrative support to the operations
- Collaborate with the finance team and other functions in the group
- Contribute to a positive, service-oriented, and solution-focused culture
We are looking for someone who has
- Several years of experience in accounting and can work independently
- Good understanding of the basics of year-end closing and financial flows
- Good system proficiency and experience working with financial systems
- Very good ability to work in a structured manner and drive your work forward
- Driver's license B
It is an advantage if you have experience in:
- VAT for real estate operations
- Payroll administration
- Accounting related to aviation or real estate companies
- The financial system Visma, which we use in the group
