Description

The Development Department is part of the administration for the upper secondary and adult education management.

We are now looking for a committee secretary who wants to contribute to a legally secure, efficient, and professional handling of our political processes. You will play a central role with both operational and development-oriented tasks.

Responsibilities

As a committee secretary, you are the hub of the committee process and an important support to elected political representatives, the management, and case handlers.

Your responsibilities include managing the political case process. You prepare and ensure the quality of cases for the committee, ensure that decision-making documents are legally and linguistically correct, and handle public documents and confidentiality assessments according to current legislation. The job also includes managing record-keeping and being a support for the operations in these matters. You actively contribute to the development of case processes and information management, sometimes even as a leader in these initiatives. If necessary, you also work with investigations and prepare referrals and motions, which provides variation and the opportunity to influence important decisions.

You will have the opportunity to influence and develop our routines and processes, and work closely with other functions within the Development Department.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in public administration, political science, law, or equivalent. You have experience working in public administration, either as a committee secretary or in a role where you have worked closely with political decision-making processes. You have good knowledge of the Local Government Act, the Administrative Procedure Act, and the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, and are familiar with registration, digital systems, and document management. Experience in developing administrative or legally governed processes is an advantage. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and have good prioritization skills. You thrive in a role where you need to be both independent and collaborative. You find it easy to build relationships, provide professional support, and are comfortable working in an environment where the pace can vary.
