HR Partner at the Swedish Agency for Mandatory Military Service

The HR unit at the Swedish Agency for Mandatory Military Service is responsible for the agency's HR and employer issues.

We provide professional support to managers and employees in everyday and strategic matters and drive development to be an attractive employer for the future. The unit currently consists of a manager and five employees with different areas of responsibility. In 2026, the unit will be expanded with several new employees.

The agency operates in four locations and is in the process of establishing itself in Umeå. This position is based in Karlstad, but travel to all locations is required.

We are now looking for an HR partner who wants to work with operational and proactive HR support for the agency's managers. There are good opportunities to shape the role based on your expertise and in relation to the rest of the unit.

Your Responsibilities

In your role as an HR partner, you will act as the HR contact for one or more departments, which means being the support for managers in a wide range of HR and employer issues. You will also have a specialization in a specific area such as work environment or skills supply. The work is varied and is carried out both independently and in collaboration with colleagues and managers. Administrative work is also a natural part of the tasks.

Your Qualifications

The position requires that you have:

• A university degree in human resources or labor relations or equivalent education deemed comparable by the employer
• Several years of experience in broad HR work and/or recruitment

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience in HR work within the public sector agreement area
• Experience with Malin Lindelöw's competency-based recruitment method

You are self-driven and proactive in your professional role, while also being a team player. You have high integrity and communicate in a way that is adapted to the target audience.

The position is security classified, and we therefore conduct a security review with a background check according to the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment comes with an obligation to be placed in a military position.
