We are now looking for an engaged and driven Product Specialist in recycling services for the customer service unit in our marketing department. Here you will have the opportunity to deliver first-class service to our customers, both old and new, in a changing industry.

Recycling services at Karlstad Energy encompass the entire chain of waste management - from collection and sorting at households and businesses to the operation of recycling centers and packaging stations. The role involves close collaboration with customers, colleagues, and external actors in an environment where the demands for quality, structure, and compliance with legislation are constantly increasing.
As a product specialist, you ensure that our services are clear, accessible, and sustainable, and that they meet both market demands and customer needs. You become a central link between the Recycling Services business area, the marketing department, and customer service, where you contribute your expertise to strengthen the whole and create a cohesive customer experience.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the administrative management in our digital systems while acting as specialist support to customer service, thereby contributing your expertise in the daily work. This also includes training new colleagues in the area.
You will also be a key person in contact with external actors. By coordinating collaborations and building long-term relationships, you strengthen both our services and our position in the industry. The role also involves actively participating in development and improvement projects related to recycling services, where you use your expertise to ensure that our products not only meet market demands but also exceed customer expectations.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Technical Support: Provide technical expertise to the sales and customer service team to ensure correct and efficient product delivery.
- Customer Contact: Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide recommendations based on the customer's needs.
- Training: Educate and support internal teams and customers in the use and understanding of our waste management services.
- Reporting: Internal reporting as well as to authorities. Follow-up on statistics and reconciliation with our contractors.
Qualifications
We see that you have a high school education and a solid administrative background from operations with extensive customer contact. You have the ability to build bridges between operational activities and customers. You are used to working in a digital environment where you can quickly and effectively navigate between different digital systems and handle customer cases with accuracy and quality. Your analytical ability and logical thinking allow you to quickly understand complex issues and contribute to effective and sustainable solutions.
You communicate clearly and professionally, both in Swedish and English, and are structured, service-oriented, and have a strong focus on creating value for the customer. You thrive in a role where tasks vary and where you switch between independent work and close collaboration with colleagues.
We consider it advantageous if you have experience in the recycling or waste management industry, product development, or market analysis. Education in waste management or environmental areas is also seen as an advantage, as well as work related to waste legislation.
We actively work for a safe working environment and strong community. Upon hiring, alcohol and drug tests as well as verification of valid identification will be conducted.
The position will start with a six-month probationary period, and you will become part of our crisis and war organization.
