The Development Support of Health and Medical Care is an area of operation within the Health and Medical Care Department.

The focus areas of the operational area are quality, flow efficiency in clinical operations, and coordination of care efforts within Region Värmland and with the municipalities.

Your Tasks

As a business analyst focusing on production and capacity management (PKS), you will work on developing region-wide methods, models, and tools for planning and monitoring healthcare production. You will support managers and healthcare operations in their work to balance care needs and capacity, and contribute with analysis, advice, and training. You will also have overall responsibility for managing Region Värmland's PKS system, which means ensuring that the system supports the needs of the operations and develops in line with the region's strategies.

You will perform your tasks in close collaboration with colleagues within both healthcare operations and other support functions within the organization.

Your Knowledge and Competencies

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in health and medical care, logistics, or other education and experience deemed equivalent by the employer. You have experience in planning and executing tasks independently.

As a person, you take initiative, feel comfortable in a driving role, and have the ability to lead meetings. At the same time, you have an interest in statistics, analysis, and numbers, and are pedagogical with good communication skills both verbally and in writing. You are stable and strategic in your working method, have good collaboration skills, and build relationships in a natural and professional way.

It is advantageous if you:

• have experience working in Power BI or other data visualization tools
• have experience in flow optimization, resource optimization, scheduling optimization, and similar is advantageous
• have experience working in health and medical care.
