Your Mission

The Housing Support Group assists individuals under 65 years old with long-term mental disabilities living in their own homes. The group provides support to approximately 60-70 users throughout the municipality. The Housing Support Group also serves as a flexible staffing resource for the entire Social Psychiatry operation, meaning they function as an extra resource during planned and emergency staffing absences, for example, replacing regular staff during workplace meetings.

As a housing supporter, you will support and guide users towards an active and independent life. You will, for example, contribute to a good daily structure and assist with social contacts.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and weekends.

In the role of support assistant, collaboration both internally and externally is also included. You deliver quality with a particular focus on approach/attitude in your daily work.

Your Experience

• I have an approved education as a nursing assistant with a focus on psychiatry, YH-social psychiatry, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
• I have experience working with the target group.
• I have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
• I have good computer skills.
• I hold a B driver's license.
• I have good cycling skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with the Motivational Interviewing method.
• Experience with the Independent Life (ESL) method.
• Experience with the Recovery method.
• Experience with the Low Arousal Approach method.
• Clarifying pedagogy.

About the Workplaces

In the housing support unit, you will be part of a smaller workgroup, one of whom is employed as a support pedagogue with a particular focus on user quality. We continuously develop our daily work, including through regular team meetings with support functions such as care pedagogues and occupational therapists.
