This is me

I am a happy and curious 19-year-old girl with intellectual disabilities and autism. I live in a villa with my parents but have my own apartment in the house. I plan to move to my own apartment in the near future, which means that you as an assistant will be an important part of my increased independence.

I am in school and will graduate this summer. After that, I will start in a daily activity program. I do not speak but make myself understood through clear body language and widget images on my iPad.

I need help with all daily living activities, such as personal care, meals (tube feeding), activities, and structure in my everyday life.

My interests include going to Väla, baking, walking in the woods and by the sea, and cycling.

There is a dog in the household, so you who are applying must not be allergic.

Who do I want by my side?

I am looking for someone who can and wants to take responsibility and who, through cooperation and care, provides me with the support I need in my daily life. You have good communication skills in spoken Swedish and can learn to understand and interpret me correctly. It is important that you are calm, attentive, secure, and can support me in my communication. I prefer female applicants.

About the position

Previous experience in personal assistance or work within the autism spectrum is an advantage. However, great importance will be placed on personal suitability. The workplace is located in Höganäs municipality.

Working hours / Duration: Employment rate: approx. 50% (on-call time is not included in the employment rate). Work shifts are scheduled on weekdays and weekends; daytime, evening, and night including waiting time.
