Job Responsibilities
The responsibilities include supporting our residents in their daily lives and in their interactions with authorities, as well as creating a safe and stable living environment. As a substitute with us, you work motivationally to ensure that the services needed by the residents are implemented and to achieve the goals in the long-term planning.
We work with ongoing record-keeping and together with the resident, we establish implementation plans. As part of the assignment, it also includes being a support in practical tasks such as accompanying residents to meetings with other authorities, assisting with legitimization, and supporting the execution of daily chores when needed. We work based on a low-arousal approach, harm-reduction work, and motivational conversations.

Qualifications
For these positions, the following is required:
- Started or completed education as a social worker, social pedagogue, treatment pedagogue, or other relevant education deemed suitable by the employer for the assignment.
- Very good Swedish in both spoken and written form.
- Driver's license B (automatic transmission is sufficient).
Meritorious:
- Experience working with individuals living with addiction issues.
- Familiarity with social services and its various interventions.
- Experience working based on a low-arousal approach.
- Experience working with homeless individuals.
- Training and experience in MI and/or solution-focused approaches.
- Experience working with documentation in similar operations.
- Experience working from a harm-reduction perspective and method.
- Experience collaborating with other actors such as police, healthcare, and social services.

As we strive to offer tailored support, it is important that you have the ability to consider each individual's current situation and conditions. This also means that you need to be flexible and adapt your approach to the person you meet. It is important that you are calm and stable, can distinguish between personal and private matters, and have a good, low-arousal, and non-judgmental approach. You enjoy working in a small team where you work closely with your colleagues and have a good understanding of each other's cases.
About the Workplace
At Kirsebergsgården, located in Malmö, there are 44 apartments, and our target group is men and women aged 21 and over who, for various reasons, have difficulty maintaining housing in the regular housing market. Women and men with active addiction issues, with or without mental health problems, are welcome here. Currently, most residents are over 40 years old, and many are older, with common support services provided through home care.
The Housing and Support Unit provides housing and housing solutions for homeless individuals in need of support. Within the unit's seven sections and operations, there is a common mission to offer individually tailored housing forms for individuals who, due to harmful use, addiction, or other life difficulties, need support in their daily lives.

Information about the Position
Employment form: Summer substitute and hourly employment during the terms.
Scope: Full-time
Number of positions: 2
Start date: By agreement, introduction before the summer vacation if possible.
The work is scheduled for Mon-Fri during daytime hours 08:00-16:30.
