JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Elderly Educator for Special Housing, help create something new.

Do you want to be there from the very beginning and build up an activity program that truly makes a difference? We are looking for an elderly educator who wants to take part in a development project where nothing is finished, and where your ideas, creativity, and competence can shape the way forward.

About the position:

This is a new role for us. You will join us at a stage where we will together create an activity offering and a pedagogical approach that enhances quality of life, participation, and joy for our residents. There is room to think innovatively, test, evaluate, and build something sustainable from the ground up. You will be an important part of the team and a driving force in developing our operations.

Your responsibilities

• Plan and lead social, cultural, and therapeutic activities
• Work health-promoting and preventive with a focus on each individual
• Contribute pedagogical competence in teams and mentor staff
• Work with reminiscence, culture, music, and interactive methods
• Document and follow up on interventions
• Strengthen the elderly's participation and quality of life

QUALIFICATIONS

• Trained elderly educator
• Good ability to create security and relationships
• Shows creativity, responsiveness, and initiative
• Knowledge of the psychology of aging and pedagogical methods
• Enjoys working both independently and in teams
