As a childcare worker within the staffing unit, you are an important resource who substitutes when regular staff are absent.

You are booked based on the needs that arise, which means you are scheduled at short notice. Together with the team, you conduct educational activities according to the preschool curriculum and support the children in their development and learning. You actively participate in the children's daily lives through play, meals, gatherings, and outdoor activities.

You will work at several of our preschools, both in central Hässleholm and in our surrounding areas. The municipality offers preschools with different educational orientations as well as an OB operation. Who are you?

Welcome to apply if you are a qualified childcare worker and are open to working at different preschools in Hässleholm municipality. You have experience working with children and are familiar with our governing documents.

As a childcare worker, you see the competent child and base your approach on each child's unique needs and interests. To thrive in the role, you need to appreciate variation and be comfortable taking shifts at short notice. Since assignments may be at different preschools in the municipality, you also need to have a driver's license and access to a car.

The Department of Education and Child Care is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together to create a learning environment where children, students, and employees succeed and can be their best. The department's mission is to coordinate, plan, and support the various operations and work for coordination between school and working life.

The staffing unit within the Department of Education and Child Care consists of a unit manager, administrators, childcare workers, preschool teachers, and childcare assistants. We staff the preschools as needed for both short-term and long-term substitutes during regular staff absences or if a temporary need arises.
