At HVB Gästgården, we are now looking for new hourly substitutes to join our team. We are currently in an exciting phase where we at Fogdaröd prioritize developing qualitative care and treatment with evidence-based methods at our HVB. Just as important as working from the above is our value of doing this with commitment and soft values towards our youth, clients, guardians, and each other in the work team.

We receive youth aged 12-15 with psychosocial issues. Our target group is broad and may include outwardly aggressive behavior, lack of emotional regulation skills, and absence of a safe environment at home. Many of our youth have some form of neuropsychiatric diagnosis, anxiety issues, and traumatic life events. We accept referrals from social services from all over the country. We offer a safe and homely accommodation with individual treatment based on implementation plans and individual goals.

Our psychological treatment is based on CBT. Our goal with the treatment is always to increase functional behaviors and skills and create a valuable existence for our youth. This is to enhance the opportunities to provide the youth with possibilities, strategies, and resources for the future after the placement ends.

Our staff also have competence and receive ongoing training in clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal approaches to work with attitudes, responses, conversations, and adjustments based on the youth's needs.

HVB Gästgården is beautifully located in a park close to nature. In the adjacent forest, there are beautiful waterways and exercise trails that contribute to an active leisure time. We also have outdoor and indoor gyms on the premises that the youth can utilize. We also go on excursions that take us all over Skåne.

In the role of treatment educator, you will work with overarching interventions in the youth's daily life such as:

-Together with your colleagues, be responsible for a good structure and ensure that the residence's routines are followed to create a safe and predictable daily life for our youth.

-Support and work with interventions related to ADL

-Plan and carry out activities with the youth

-Participate in educational meals with the youth

-Collaborate with schools, guardians, and other care institutions as needed

-Daily journaling

-Conduct behavioral observations/mapping in daily life together with the team

-You are expected to work according to the organization's safety routines and risk assessments.

We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications:

-Adequate post-secondary education of at least 2 years, e.g., social pedagogue/treatment educator/social worker is an advantage.

-Experience working in HVB and with youth in a similar target group as ours

-B driver's license, manual transmission

It is an advantage if you have training in CBT, MI, low-arousal approaches, and clarifying pedagogy.

-Have good skills in self-emotional regulation and relationships

-Be independent, feeling secure in performing solo work

-High collaboration ability as we value a safe and good teamwork where we complement and help each other without prestige

-High ability for flexibility, problem-solving, and perspective-taking

-Openness to develop, willingness to receive consultation/supervision from colleagues

-An attitude and personality characterized by curiosity and non-judgment towards our youth, colleagues, and those we collaborate with

-Dare to express yourself when you need help, support, and see the work as a constant learning and development

The position involves irregular working hours day/evening/weekend including sleeping on duty
