Vocational Teacher in Tiling

About the Role

Movant is looking for an engaged vocational teacher in tiling for an ongoing hourly substitute position for a labor market education at a correctional facility. Here you will have the chance to combine your professional knowledge with a significant role as a mentor and educator for adults looking to step into the construction industry.

We have an ongoing need for occasional instances each week to cover needs during holidays or other types of planned or unplanned absences, which is why flexibility is important as needs may arise at short notice or be scheduled in advance.

As a teacher with us, you help participants develop both practical skills and theoretical knowledge while also expressing your own passion for your profession. You are part of an engaged teaching team where collaboration and joy at work are central.

Your main task is to deliver high-quality education that meets industry demands and expectations. The best of both worlds - you share your knowledge and simultaneously see your participants grow and develop!

We are looking for someone who

• Has a vocational certificate in tiling
• and/or at least five years of professional experience from the last ten years
• Has experience teaching adults
• Can adapt teaching to each participant's needs
• Has the ability to explain theories and guide practical moments
• Has good computer skills
• Is without a criminal record (a criminal record extract is required)
• Is flexible and can substitute at short notice for a single day or for a longer period.

It is an advantage if you hold a teaching license or have other pedagogical experience. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
