We are currently looking for a communicator in the energy sector for our client, a government agency. The assignment is full-time and is expected to start on 2026-04-01 and continue until 2027-03-31 with the possibility of extension. 

About the assignment To meet the increasing demand for electricity and ensure operational reliability, extensive renewals of the electricity grid are planned throughout Sweden. This is a crucial prerequisite for electrification and the green transition. Effective and tailored communication with stakeholders is essential for a successful grid expansion.

The assignment involves supporting the grid expansion with communication expertise across several programs and projects, in close collaboration within a communications unit focused on regional dialogue and project progress.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write communication plans

• Plan, implement, and follow up on communication efforts

• Plan and execute events aimed at specific target groups

• Provide communicative support to project spokespersons

• Ensure that communication adheres to established messages

• Produce texts, images, and simple videos

• Publish content on the web and intranet (Optimizely)

• Develop communication materials in InDesign

About you We are looking for someone who meets the following mandatory requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in the last five years working with communication targeting the public

• At least 4 years of experience independently driving, planning, and executing target group-adapted communication and relationship-building communication activities

• At least 3 years of experience communicating complex issues tailored to various target groups

• You must speak and write Swedish and English fluently

It is advantageous if you also meet the following requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a communicator within public administration targeting the public

• At least 3 years of experience working operationally with communication in grid expansion projects

• At least 2 years of experience in the role of communication consultant
