Something is always happening here – a new life is born, a grandmother is operated on, a colleague is hailed as a hero. With us, you will experience both tough challenges and fantastic events, in a strong community with colleagues. See parts of our reality in our photo exhibition; akademiskafotoutstallning.se (http://akademiskafotoutstallning.se). Welcome with your application!

Our Operations

The area of operations for ambulance and emergency care at Akademiska sjukhuset is characterized by specialized competence in the management of acute medical conditions in adults and children across several medical and surgical fields. Emergency care is a rapidly developing and changing area. It includes prioritization, diagnostics, and treatment of patients with acute medical conditions.

The emergency department has over 140 employed nurses, nursing assistants, and department secretaries. In addition to the department head, there is a deputy department head, educational nurses, an educational nursing assistant, a clinical adjunct, and a large number of individuals with special assignments ensuring that the department is constantly developing and improving. We are now looking for a staffing coordinator for our operations, who can work to ensure that the reception has full staffing every day of the year.

Your Assignment

As one of two staffing coordinators, you will be responsible, together with the department head and deputy department head, for the daily and long-term staffing of the department. Your tasks include receiving sick leave notifications, covering for absences, making daily changes and entries in the schedule. You will work in our personnel administrative system Heroma and Medinet.

You are responsible for regular scheduling, onboarding schedules, and are available for questions from staff regarding leave and scheduling. You will have close contact with new staff and seasonal substitutes for planning practical details, schedules during onboarding and vacation periods.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience in staffing and scheduling in Heroma and Medinet. You should have good computer skills and problem-solving abilities. You need to be attentive, outgoing, structured, and have good communication skills. Furthermore, you should be able to work independently and have an interest in staffing and scheduling.

It is advantageous if you have experience with similar tasks and education in personnel administrative systems. If you have also worked in emergency care and are experienced in handling more acute and sudden situations, that is a plus. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We Offer

We offer a permanent position at 100%, where we may apply a probationary period of 6 months. Start date according to agreement. With us, you will receive benefits that make a difference; read about the benefits here (https://regionuppsala.se/jobba-hos-oss/bli-var-nya-kollega/formaner/).
