HR Partner Wanted at Mellanskog

Mellanskog is a forest owner association, a cooperative owned by over 28,200 private forest owners in Central Sweden, from Gotland in the south to Härjedalen in the north. We actively work to ensure our members can own and manage forests in a free, profitable, and sustainable way – today and in the future. As Sweden transitions to a greener future, forests are a key resource. We take care of the forest together.

We are now looking for an engaged and goal-oriented HR Partner who wants to contribute to our journey forward.

About the Position

As an HR Partner at Mellanskog, you will play a central role in supporting our managers in personnel-related matters. You will work broadly within the HR field to attract, retain, and engage employees. The role involves both operational and strategic work to create a sustainable and developing culture where leadership and employee engagement are in focus.

Your responsibilities include:

• Being an active support to managers in HR processes and in the development of the organization.
• Responsible for identifying needs, driving improvement initiatives, and developing solutions within the HR area.
• Working to develop Mellanskog as an employer and achieving our goals.
• Providing support and guidance on issues related to labor law, employment conditions, and regulations.
• Participating in and further developing Mellanskog's HR processes and being responsible for deepening specific areas such as work environment, competence supply, recruitment, or salary formation.

In this role, you will collaborate with managers, colleagues, and have contact with external partners and suppliers to ensure effective and value-creating HR work. The HR team consists of two HR Partners, a sales and leadership developer, and an HR manager. Together, we are responsible for the entirety of the HR area, which means that the assignment is varied and broad. You will report to the HR manager.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

To succeed and thrive in this role, we see that you have:

• A university or college degree with a focus on human resources and labor issues, or equivalent education.
• At least 3-4 years of experience in broad HR work, preferably from a role as an HR Partner, HR specialist, or similar.
• Good knowledge of labor law, regulations, and legislation.
• A flexible and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to work both operationally and strategically.
• The ability to create trust and build strong relationships through your communicative and structured working style.
• An interest and experience in facilitating and leading workshops.

Other Information

The position is based at our headquarters in Uppsala. The role may involve travel within Mellanskog's operational area.
