The Municipal Executive Administration is the central administration within Enköping Municipality. We work on behalf of the municipal council and are responsible for governance, management, coordination, service, and support for the municipality as a whole.

Approximately 190 employees work within the administration based on the goal that “We will lead and coordinate development with a focus on the benefit for those we serve.”

JOB DESCRIPTION

Enköping Municipality aims to provide good service and accessibility for those we serve.

As a municipal guide, you will work in Enköping Municipality's contact center. The contact center's mission is to provide answers and information to those who contact the municipality and to work for good accessibility, service, and reception. The contact center is staffed with municipal guides and several support functions. As a municipal guide, you are one of our faces to the public.

Responsibilities

You will answer questions, receive feedback and reports of issues, and guide within the entire municipality's area of responsibility, primarily via phone but also via email, Facebook, and in-person visits.

The municipal guides work closely together to create high accessibility and service. To perform the mission, you will need to use many different IT systems. You will continuously adopt new working methods, tasks, and solutions, which means you will constantly develop and stay updated.

You may also have your own areas of responsibility where you lead meetings, disseminate information within the group, and help develop the contact center.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements for the position:

• A genuine sense of service and experience from similar work in customer service and case management.
• Very good experience working with the Office suite and various IT-based operational systems, as well as experience in information retrieval.
• You have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You should have knowledge of plain language.
• Higher education or university degree related to municipal duties, e.g., political science, communication, or human resources.
• You, as an applicant, have the ability to meet different people in various situations. You have a strong customer focus and the ability to build good relationships with others. You act professionally and focused even in pressured situations. You are driven, analytical, flexible, and have the ability to prioritize. You have an unpretentious manner and enjoy collaborating with colleagues in a team, while also being able to work independently. You should be solution-oriented and a good communicator. A prerequisite for the position is that you want to help develop the contact center.
