We are expanding our radiology department in Tierp with a computed tomography scanner. We are now looking for you who are a radiology nurse and want to work with us in Tierp. We can offer the opportunity to rotate to Uppsala if desired!

Our Operations

At the Department of Imaging and Functional Medicine Center, Akademiska sjukhuset, we work with advanced MRI, computed tomography, ultrasound, and conventional radiological diagnostics as well as advanced interventional diagnostics and treatment. The operations are conducted both acutely and planned, and we staff around the clock. The Imaging and Functional Medicine Center performs approximately 200,000 examinations and treatments annually with a wide range of modalities such as intervention, MRI, CT, conventional radiography, ultrasound, SPECT, and PET. The operations are also present in Tierp and Östhammar, where conventional radiography is conducted.

Your Mission

We currently work with conventional radiography in a friendly environment at the radiology reception in Tierp and will also start conducting computed tomography examinations. You will rotate between CT and conventional radiography. The work requires independence and is varied, as the assignment includes not only examinations but also booking, phone calls, and referral management. We perform both scheduled and acute examinations.

Your Qualifications

You are a licensed radiology nurse. Experience in computed tomography is an advantage, but not a requirement. You have good computer skills, are confident and stable, and can work in a varied environment. You have good collaboration skills, are service-oriented, and have a positive attitude towards your work and your colleagues.

We Offer

Permanent employment with start date according to agreement. We are open to employment with the possibility of rotation to Uppsala. A probationary period may occur.

The working hours are currently scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday. In the long run, we will offer our patients appointments during evenings and weekends. We offer competitive salaries and have one of the best collective agreements in the country.
