Our Operations

Would you like to work as a nurse in the maternity ward? The obstetrics department at Akademiska sjukhuset includes the delivery and maternity wards as well as obstetric specialist clinics. Approximately 4000 women give birth with us each year. We provide qualified maternity and postnatal care for the county's residents and specialist care for the region. We have a close collaboration with Akademiska Children's Hospital and strive to care for mothers and children together. Within women's health care, we promise you a stimulating job in an exciting department where operations are constantly evolving. Your Mission

As a nurse in the maternity ward, you will work with the new family and the newborn child. We care for the entire family and prioritize them in all our work. You will work in a care team with nursing assistants, midwives, and doctors. You will collaborate closely with the team around the patient. You will receive a well-planned introduction and a stimulating work environment.

Your Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for a licensed nurse who has worked for some time, or a couple of years in the profession and feels confident in your nursing role. You enjoy working at a varied pace and in close collaboration with other colleagues. Of course, you should have a great interest in women's health care. You are engaged, innovative, and positive about the development of operations. Experience in pediatric care, surgery, or emergency care is an advantage. We place great importance on personal suitability.

We Offer

We offer you a permanent full-time position with a start date according to agreement. Rotation day/evening/night. Introduction is planned according to your needs and previous experience. As a nurse in inpatient care, you will receive an inpatient care supplement of 2000 SEK per month in addition to your base salary. For three-shift work, an additional rotation supplement of 2000 SEK applies.
