We are located in an expanding region with convenient commuting options to Stockholm, Uppsala, and Västerås. For those considering relocating to live close to work, the Enköping region has much to offer. The hospital provides emergency and planned care for approximately 72,000 residents in Enköping, Håbo, and Southern Heby, and we also have specialist assignments throughout Uppsala County. Here, you can make a difference - for the patients and for the organization - in a work environment where we constantly develop together. Would you like to be part of our team? A warm welcome to the Hospital in Enköping!

Our Operations

The hospital-connected home care (LAH) provides specialized home care in the areas of palliative and medical care. We are present both in the patient's home and in our care department, and the operations run around the clock. Our mission is to care for our patients at home but, if necessary, also in the hospital and then in our own department. We work for a complete care chain to create security for our connected patients. We have about 35 employees and a very pleasant atmosphere in the work group.

Your Mission

Standard tasks as a nurse. LAH applies an integrated working method, which means that you will work both in the care department and in the patient's home. You will work independently, and in home care freely and flexibly, making the work varied! You will make observations and assessments of the patient's health status, as well as support the patient with self-care measures, all in close collaboration with colleagues and access to doctors.

As a new nurse with us, you will be part of KULE, which is the hospital's own introductory week for new employees. It is an interprofessional program with participants from several professional categories. As a newly graduated nurse, you will receive reflective professional guidance, shadowing/coaching with a clinical instructor, and participate in training in practical moments at the hospital's KTC, in addition to KULE and the hospital's introductory day.

With us, you broaden your competence by gaining both inpatient and specialized home care in the same employment!

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or specialist nurse with a focus on palliative care. Experience in home care is an advantage. A driver's license is a requirement.

Your Skills

You have good communication and collaboration skills, work well in a team but also enjoy working independently. As a person, you are structured and proactive. Great emphasis will be placed on interest in the organization as a whole and your personal qualities.

We Offer

A permanent full-time position with start date by agreement. With us, you will work days, evenings, and weekends. Since the organization has several focuses, we have placed great emphasis on well-thought-out, long introductions tailored to your needs so that you feel secure in the various parts of the organization.

With us, you will receive benefits that make a difference; read about the benefits here (https://regionuppsala.se/jobba-hos-oss/bli-var-nya-kollega/formaner/ (https://regionuppsala.se/jobba-hos-oss/bli-var-nya-kollega/formaner/)).

Region Uppsala values the qualities that a balanced gender distribution and diversity bring to the organization. We therefore welcome applicants of all genders and with different backgrounds, abilities, and life experiences.

Region Uppsala places all permanent staff based on the needs of total defense. This means that for the individual employee, there are no obligations in peacetime but is solely a planning measure.

Checks against suspicion and criminal records will be made regarding all individuals whom the employer intends to hire or engage for patient-related work based on the possibility that they may work within psychiatric care, habilitation, care of children and adolescents, or compulsory care of substance abusers, areas that are subject to optional register extracts. This applies to all who will work closely with patients, even if the tasks are not primarily intended to involve work with the aforementioned patient groups.

This recruitment is conducted entirely through Region Uppsala's efforts. We therefore decline phone calls from recruitment companies and ad sellers.
