JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work as a substitute childcare worker, so it is advantageous if you have previous experience in childcare. In this role, you will work with children aged 1-5 years.

Together with other staff, you will provide children with a safe, fun, and educational environment in preschool.

At preschool, you always focus on the children.

As a substitute, you actively participate in the child group and in most daily tasks that occur within the operations, such as playing with the children, participating in activities, gatherings, singing and storytelling sessions, and educational meals. A lot of outdoor activities are included in the tasks.

The needs of the preschools will dictate your working hours. You may start as early as 06:30 and finish no later than 18:30. We also have a night, evening, and weekend preschool with different working hours that you can express interest in.

QUALIFICATIONS

To work as a substitute childcare worker in Enköping Municipality, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must have a work permit. In your application, you should state your citizenship.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be able to read and speak Swedish.
• It is advantageous if you have a car and a driver's license, as work will take place at several of our preschools located in the surrounding areas outside central Enköping.

As a substitute, you should be able to step in at short notice, be flexible with hours, and have the ability to work at all our different preschools. The number of shifts is determined by the needs of the preschools and may vary from week to week, but we prefer that you can be available to work about 2-3 days a week or more.

We place great importance on your personal suitability when hiring substitutes. You should have an easy time collaborating with others and adapting to the needs of the preschools.

A police record extract is required for the job, which is valid for preschool and school and must not be older than one year.
