Support Assistant for Our New Night Group in Heby Municipality

We are now looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with people and who wants to start up our new night group at two group homes within Support Services in Heby Municipality.

The Role

As a support assistant, you will:

• Support the user in their daily living and provide the right support for an independent life. The user's wishes and needs will guide your daily tasks.
• Support the user through conversations and guidance in practical, social, and communicative contexts.
• Provide the care the user needs in their daily life.
• Develop the work according to the user's implementation plan.
• Work respectfully with an individually adapted approach in all situations.

About Us

Our two group homes are located in pleasant areas in central Heby. Here, support assistants work together with both support pedagogues, coordinators, and unit managers.

Our new night group will work across both group homes. This provides variation in the work and greater opportunities for collaboration between the operations.

The working hours are mostly scheduled at both operations through a basic schedule. The remaining working hours are performed as substitutes during absences, primarily within Support Services. You will work on a schedule that includes awake night shifts and every other weekend.

Is This You?

We want you to:

• Have a healthcare education with a focus on disabilities/nursing/behavioral science, or another education that the employer deems relevant for the position.
• Have experience working with individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities.
• Be good at motivating and have an easy time collaborating.
• Have the ability to work independently and in a team, with both users and colleagues.
• Be driven, responsible, and work in a structured manner.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

If you have previous experience with AAC, it is an advantage.
