The Social Administration (SCF) is led by a director and is divided into four departments: SCF Staff, Child and Youth Authority, Child and Youth Services, and Adults.

The Role of Team Leader for the Network Center

The Social Administration in Uppsala is transitioning to the new social services legislation and is focusing on high-quality work. One of the department's main focuses is to promote the participation of children and families and increase the involvement of networks.
The Network Center is a new collaborative function aimed at preventing placements and strengthening children's connections with their networks. The purpose of the service is to create closer cooperation between the Child and Youth Authority and Child and Youth Services, as well as new structures for working with home return processes and crisis support.
As the team leader for the Network Center, you will be employed in targeted support, child and youth authority. The unit is an important support in the quality work within the department and currently consists of eight experienced caseworkers, two team leaders, four coordinators, and one area manager. In the spring, three new positions for the work with the Network Center will be added.

Description of Job Duties
As the team leader for the newly established Network Center, your main tasks will involve organizing and leading collaboration between different functions within the child and youth authority and child and youth services of the social administration. You will play an important role in the establishment of the Network Center.
The assignment will involve a lot of collaboration and the challenges that come with it, but also an opportunity to lead social work with high quality. You are expected to be at the forefront regarding good reception, involvement, and keeping the child's best interests in focus. You are tasked with promoting the Signs of Safety approach and finding alternative solutions to placements by involving networks.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and several years of experience working within the child and youth authority. To succeed in this role, you need to have experience in network work. The job requires you to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
We would prefer if you have training in Signs of Safety. Experience as a team leader or another supervisory role is considered an advantage.
As a person, you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. You plan and organize your work effectively and take responsibility for your tasks. Furthermore, you are service-oriented, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions. The job suits you if you are a good leader while also collaborating and relating to others in a responsive and smooth manner. You are independent and have courage but also the ability to listen to different perspectives. Last but not least, you remain calm and composed in various situations and can focus on the right things.
