About us

We are now looking for on-call staff immediately who can work as needed in our HVB operations in Älvkarleby. We have two units in Älvkarleby, K-Rehab Alpha and Alvina. The target group is adults with substance abuse issues and mental health problems. Alpha serves men, while Alvina only accepts women. The clients are referred by social services, LVM homes, or adult psychiatry. The method is based on CBT and the working approach is team-based. Collaboration with doctors, psychologists, nurses, social workers, therapists, and the treatment team is part of the daily work.

As an on-call staff member, you contribute to covering for unplanned absences and/or temporary increased staffing needs, which means you will work on short notice for anything from a few hours to a longer period. As an on-call staff member, you will also work at both of our units.

Work at the units includes day, evening, and weekend shifts, as well as sleeping on-call at night. In your application, please specify your availability.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with previous experience working with people in difficult life situations and who is calm and balanced with a focus on the client's well-being. You are solution-focused, organized, and responsible. You have a positive outlook, are resilient to stress, and have good conditions to work in a sometimes challenging psychosocial work environment. To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you can easily build relationships, have good collaboration skills, and a strong ability to set boundaries in client work.

You have at least a 2-year post-secondary education such as treatment/social pedagogy.

The work involves close and trusting collaboration with your colleagues, so you must have good communication and teamwork skills. We place great importance on personal suitability. A background check will be conducted before employment.

• Social pedagogue, social worker, or treatment pedagogue.

• Experience in treatment work

• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

• Good computer skills as documentation is extensive

• Driver's license (B)
