At the Social Services Department in Enköping Municipality, we work together to assist residents who are in difficult and vulnerable life situations.

We have close management and are constantly actively working on the development of the organization. As a foundation in our approach, we have chosen to use motivational interviewing (MI) for those we serve. Part of our management structure is that we work in cross-functional teams between departments. With approximately 160 employees in the department, we have good conditions for effective internal collaboration.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Welcome to a cutting-edge Social Services Department and a team that works with reformed social services in the daily work of investigating children and youth. In our department, the atmosphere is high, and the work is important!

We are looking for a social worker for one of our focus teams on child investigations. We are looking for someone who wants to work on investigating violence against children in our violence team. Since March 2024, we have been working with level determination of investigations and with focus teams.

We have a first line that works closely with reception and outpatient care to provide support where there is high receptiveness; here we conduct short investigations or work with interventions without needs assessment. We investigate less and offer advice and support early. We have a second line where concerns are higher and recurring. The other teams include FBI, in-depth needs inventory, follow-up of assessed needs interventions, and the Violence Investigation Team.

The Violence Investigation Team consists of caseworkers from both child and adult services together with therapists because we want to work systemically around our children and families. Here, you will be part of the team and have colleagues and a team leader to support you in your daily assessments. The collaboration provides knowledge to our citizens, and you will always have a colleague to collaborate with. This ensures respect and a good work environment. The caseworkers are trained in Freda, Patriarch, Heva, and I Risk. We work with needs-driven operations and are looking for someone who wants to work with needs. This primarily means being an investigator, but it can also mean providing interventions and support in treatment.

We are looking for a social worker who is ready to help develop the investigative work, and since we have come far in the transition to a new social service, we would like you to be willing to try new paths and be ready to work within the different teams. Currently, the violence team needs to be filled with competence as we have a colleague who will be on leave for other duties. It is an advantage if you have experience in investigative work.

We work with mentors in the organization as support for those who are new with us, and we have a comprehensive introduction program with access to internal training. The department consists of 25 employees, of which three are team leaders, one family therapist, one administrative social worker, and investigative and follow-up social workers.
