Within the Health and Care Administration, full-time employment is the norm. This means that all permanent employees fundamentally have a full-time position. More information about what this means for this position will be provided during a potential interview. Exceptions (to full-time as the norm) are personal assistants.
We are now looking for three residential assistants for our LSS accommodation in Storvreta. Do you have experience in the care profession and want a job that makes a difference? This position involves work at our group home at Hasselvägen 11, located in a quiet residential area in Storvreta with a nature-friendly setting. Six individuals with varying support needs reside here. We have six apartments, a common area with a kitchen and seating area, as well as an outdoor space. We are staffed around the clock with awake night shifts and sleeping on-call.

As a residential assistant, you will be part of a team that works closely with the users through conversations, practical support, and relationship-building efforts. The work is scheduled around the clock, both weekdays and weekends, with sleeping on-call, which means varied working hours according to a schedule.
Job Description
As a residential assistant, you are a present conversation partner and an important support in our residents' daily lives. A large part of the work involves building trust, creating security, routines, and structure, and being there in both everyday and difficult moments.
Your tasks include:
- Conducting conversations that strengthen the individual's independence, well-being, and participation
- Providing support in personal care, household chores, and leisure activities
- Documenting efforts and following up according to the implementation plan
- Collaborating with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals
- Performing delegated tasks from the nurse.
- Experience with users exhibiting challenging behavior is a requirement.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant, support educator, or have other education deemed equivalent by the employer. You have experience working within LSS or social psychiatry. The job requires good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You also need to have good computer, documentation, and system skills. A driver's license is required.
To fit in the role, you need to be secure and stable with good self-awareness. You have the ability to see relationships in their proper perspective and clearly distinguish between the personal and the professional. You act in a way that is adapted to the situation and take responsibility for your tasks. You drive processes forward in an effective and structured way.
We value your ability to collaborate with others in a responsive and smooth manner. You listen actively, communicate clearly, and handle conflicts constructively. You make correct assessments and priorities, weigh complex information and various considerations, and demonstrate good judgment in both statements, actions, and decisions. The role requires you to work well with complex issues, analyze and break down problems, and find solutions even to complicated challenges.
