About Liljeforsskolan
Liljeforsskolan is a K-5 school located in the Gränby area. Approximately 320 students attend the school, and there are 50 staff members. The school is situated in a residential area but has a large and beautiful schoolyard and is surrounded by parks. The school is one of Uppsala's schools selected for special initiatives, allowing for smaller class sizes and higher staff ratios. The staff group consists of a stable and competent team that continuously strives to develop the operations with the students' best interests in focus.
Job Description
As a childcare worker at our school, you will work in one or more classes during the school day and at the after-school program before and after the school day begins and ends. During the school day, you will support students both individually and in groups. You will be present as a student support during lessons, breaks, and the transitions between lessons and breaks. In the after-school program, you will lead activities at the group level, both indoors and outdoors. As a childcare worker at our school, you will collaborate with driven and competent colleagues, both during the students' school day and at the after-school program.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a trained childcare worker or has other education that meets the needs of the school.
You are expected to be a mature and clear adult and thus a good role model for our students. You are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. Furthermore, you are calm and composed in various situations and have the ability to focus on the right things. You have a professional approach and collaborate and relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner. The job suits you if you have good pedagogical skills and an understanding of people's different conditions for absorbing knowledge.
