About the workplace

We are now looking for new colleagues for our personal assistance operations in Håbo municipality.

The work can occur every day of the week, both during the day and in the evening. Some night shifts may be available for those who wish to work them.

The work is performed in the user's home or at another location where the user is present.

Job Responsibilities

As a personal assistant, you have a responsible and meaningful job that provides both personal development and a lot of joy in return. The tasks include personal care such as assistance with meals, dressing and undressing, personal hygiene, and support in everyday situations where the user needs help. It may also involve accompanying the user on leisure activities and other social contexts.

In our operations, we work from a salutogenic approach, which means that we utilize and strengthen the individual's existing abilities. We focus on the user's possibilities, strengths, and resources while encouraging and reinforcing belief in their own abilities. The salutogenic and solution-focused working method contributes to increased participation and independence. As a personal assistant, you ensure that the user has the opportunity to live and reside as independently as possible.

Qualifications

Care and a good attitude are at the core of our operations. You have a genuine interest in working with people and a desire to make a difference in their daily lives.

It is an advantage if you have a nursing assistant education or other training and/or experience that the employer assesses as equivalent. Experience working with people with disabilities is also an advantage.

Personal Characteristics

We are looking for someone who wants a responsible and flexible job where you are truly needed. You must be at least 18 years old and have a genuine interest in working with people. Previous experience in personal assistance, care, or support is advantageous, as is nursing assistant training.

You have the ability to create a safe, empathetic, and respectful environment where the user feels seen and well cared for. You can work from a rehabilitative approach and are expected to have a professional demeanor and good collaboration skills with colleagues, supervisors, relatives, and other professionals you encounter in your daily work.
