Within the Care and Support Administration, we have full-time as the norm. This means that all permanent employees essentially have a full-time position. More information about what this means for this position will be provided during a potential interview. Exceptions (from full-time as the norm) are personal assistants.

At our LSS residence in Vänge, we provide support and care to adult users with disabilities according to the Act on Support and Service. We focus on the individual's needs and strive to create a safe, stimulating, and meaningful everyday life based on individual needs. We work based on clear pedagogical principles, with visual support and welfare technology. The work is scheduled around the clock, both weekdays and weekends, which means varied working hours according to the schedule.
Job Description
As a support pedagogue, you will provide support and service based on the residents' wishes, both at home and in leisure activities. You will contribute to ensuring that the resident has the opportunity for an active and meaningful life. Furthermore, you should be able to address each person's individual needs and conduct pedagogical work based on this. Since the needs vary among users, no day is the same, making the work both challenging and exciting. You will maintain systematic quality work in consultation with the operations manager, guide colleagues, and be a role model, driving and developing the pedagogical work.
You will work closely with your colleagues and have a significant responsibility to also support your colleagues in administrative tasks. The work also includes certain delegated health and medical care tasks.
As a support pedagogue with us, you are expected to:
- engage in conversations and work with alternative communication that strengthens the individual's independence, well-being, and participation
- provide support in personal care, household chores, and leisure activities
- document interventions and follow up according to the implementation plan
- collaborate with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals
Qualifications
- degree in support pedagogy comprising 200 YH credits or 60 completed university credits in pedagogy
- experience working pedagogically
- good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
- experience and knowledge of the target group within LSS and good familiarity with LSS operations
- experience in clear communication, TAKK - low-arousal approach
- experience working in group housing
- good familiarity with LSS operations
