About EKFB:

En Kamp För Barn (EKFB) is an established player in consultant-supported emergency and foster care, outpatient care, and supported housing. Since our inception in 2015, we have dedicated ourselves to delivering high-quality care to children and young people aged 0–21 years and have good collaborations with municipalities across the country. Our organization is characterized by engaged and competent employees with a focus on quality, and we are constantly looking for new ways to grow and develop. About the position:

As a foster care consultant at EKFB, you play a central role in our work to support children and young people. Your work involves close collaboration with families and external partners to ensure quality care. We are looking for someone who has the ambition to eventually take on greater responsibility and step into a broader role within the organization. Your main tasks include:

• Recruitment and investigation of foster/emergency homes
• Guiding, supporting, and training our foster homes
• Collaborating closely with social services, receiving inquiries/placements, and matching with foster homes
• Documentation

The position is based at our office in central Uppsala, but travel is required to visit emergency and foster homes, so you must be prepared for a certain amount of travel in your work. The position is full-time, and we work Monday to Friday. We offer an independent role with flexibility as well as a family-oriented company with competent and warm colleagues. About you:

We are looking for someone who is primarily driven and engaged in helping children and young people. We see that you are a team player with good collaboration skills and are responsible. Furthermore, you are flexible and need to understand that the company is a smaller organization in a growth phase. For this role, we require that you have:

• A degree in social work or another relevant higher education in, for example, behavioral science, social work, or psychology - or another education deemed equivalent
• Good communication skills and fluent Swedish in both speech and writing
• Good documentation skills
• Driving license B
