Are you looking for an exciting and developing job while working to provide people with a good life every day? Do you also want the opportunity to grow in a company that values engagement, joy, and responsibility? Then you have the chance to apply for a job with us at Humana. In this role, you will work with us towards our vision – Everyone has the right to a good life.
About us
Löten is for young people with addiction and/or psychosocial and neuropsychiatric issues. They often struggle with family and school, mental health issues, self-harm, isolation, anger or impulse control, criminality, risk or addiction, conflict-filled relationships, and various forms of risk behaviors. We have resources to accommodate girls with extensive and ongoing drug use.
We accept placements according to SoL and LVU.
Our approach
At Löten, we primarily work based on learning psychological principles and evidence-based methods focusing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and manual-based Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). By observing and clarifying functional behaviors, we help the young person recognize strategies and tools to manage situations in life.
Treatment occurs through various forms of conversations, training in social situations, and role-playing. Other parts of our treatment plan include LAB, MI, A-CRA, ART, mindfulness, yoga, and horse-assisted interventions. Löten/Löten 2 is also certified for Connect, an evidence-based method to ensure a healthy and secure attachment between staff and youth.
We also work with social skills training where the youth practice social and practical skills through daily activities with staff and other youth. The foundation is a structured and predictable everyday life where the youth meet staff and other adults as good role models in the situations that arise.
Löten's approach is to be a safe base for the young people who stay with us, and through good care and treatment create good conditions for positive and lasting change for each individual. We work salutogenically, motivation-supportive, and low-arousal. Treatment is guided by individual implementation plans based on the young person's needs, conditions, and strengths. It is crucial to build honest relationships and show each youth that we are always there for them. Working with the youth's motivation and active participation throughout the treatment process ensures that we start from their needs and resources, and that the demands are reasonable and understandable.
