Waldorf Preschool Rosengården is looking for a new employee for the summer/autumn of 2026. The position is a temporary contract of 85-100% that is expected to transition into a permanent position.

You who are applying should be an educated preschool teacher with a preschool teacher license and be curious and interested in Waldorf pedagogy or a licensed Waldorf preschool teacher. Experience working in a preschool is a requirement as we are looking for a responsible educator for one of our groups. As an educator, you are calm and secure, standing firmly on the ground with a positive attitude and can see opportunities in difficulties. You are expected to work independently, lead, and be responsible for your own group of children.

Our lovely preschool is nestled among apple trees and rose bushes where children have large garden areas to play in. With us, you need to love being outdoors and be able to inspire as well as be attentive to the children's interests and imaginative play world. The seasons with all their various celebrations follow as a common thread in what happens in the activities. Creativity and joy in caring for and protecting each other and our shared environment are high on the agenda.

We are very proud of our activities where we see play, language, and respectful communication as prerequisites for children's development and learning. Care and clarity help children grow into independent individuals with good self-esteem. Our values assume that all educators want and can be good role models who, with soul and heart, show what the preschool values and stands for, where democracy, empathy, and everyone's equal worth are guiding principles.

Our activities are built around small groups of children of 5-9 children depending on age, primarily with one responsible educator. Currently, we have three large children's groups and two small children's groups that are expected to expand to three. The food is entirely vegetarian and prepared by our own chef on site.

Just as we strive for participation and influence among the children, we expect you to bring new ideas and creativity to develop the activities. We work systematically according to a quality annual cycle where the focus is on different periods of Natural Science/Technology, Mathematics, and Language.
