We are looking for a new colleague to Bruksgymnasiet in Gimo. Bruksgymnasiet is a creative and developing workplace where we offer both vocational training and higher education preparatory programs for youth and adults. This contributes to a dynamic environment where people from different backgrounds meet and the opportunities are many. Our school has a good atmosphere with a strong collaboration where we are happy to share and help each other.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your tasks will include:

• Conducting individual guidance conversations with students, as well as providing information regarding high school choices, language choices, higher education, and professional life.
• Being an active member of the student health team (EHT) and contributing to students' goal fulfillment.
• Managing administration related to elective courses and individual choices.
• Being responsible for collaboration with the business community and external stakeholders.
• Planning and executing fairs, open days, and student shadowing.

You will be part of the school's student health team alongside counselors, special educators, and school nurses. We offer you close collaboration with the school management.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying should have a degree from the Study and Career Guidance program. You should also have good ICT skills. If you have a teaching degree, it is an advantage, as is experience in study and career guidance.

As a person, you easily adapt to new or changing circumstances and demands. You set goals for yourself and work diligently to achieve them. We value collaboration, and therefore we see that you can develop good relationships with students and guardians. You are outgoing and social in professional contexts. You listen and communicate constructively, contributing to the experience that we work together.
