Teaching Assistant Needed at Gransäterskolan

Gransäterskolan is now looking for a dedicated and supportive teaching assistant for a boy in grade 6 at our F–9 school.

The position is a fixed-term employment at 100% starting as soon as possible and lasting until the Easter break, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with the student during the school day, providing support in teaching situations, transitions, and social contexts. Your role is to contribute to structure, safety, and good conditions for learning and development.

In the morning, you will be assigned to the student in grade 6.

In the afternoon, you will work where needed in the organization, for example in other classes, in after-school activities, or with other student-related tasks.

You will collaborate with teaching staff, student health services, and other personnel and be an important part of the work team.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is calm, stable, and has a low-arousal approach.
• Has a good ability to create and maintain relationships.
• Is clear, structured, and responsible.
• Is flexible and has good collaboration skills.
• Has experience working with children and youth.

Experience working with students in need of special support is particularly meritorious.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
