About Tunaberg School

Tunaberg School is a municipal primary school in Svartbäcken and has been around for over 50 years. The school has about 570 students in grades 6-9 and approximately 50 staff members. We are a school with engaged staff, high results, and a safe environment!

Job Description

The position includes teaching physical education and mathematics for grades 6-9 as well as a mentoring role. The mentoring role is very important to us because a close relationship between student, teacher, and home is crucial for students to succeed in school. Your role also includes planning, implementing, evaluating, and analyzing teaching both individually and in groups. We have several teachers who teach both physical education and mathematics at the school, so collaboration with subject colleagues is an important part of the role.

Teachers work in grade-based teams and with at least one subject colleague in the team. In the work and subject team, a shared responsibility for students' goal fulfillment is taken, ensuring that all students reach their goals based on their circumstances.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license with the authority to teach physical education and health and mathematics in grades 6-9. The job also requires that you have experience teaching physical education and health and mathematics in primary school.

As a person, you collaborate and relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner. Furthermore, you are outgoing and socially active in professional contexts. The job suits you if you are pedagogical and have an understanding of people's different abilities to absorb knowledge. Additionally, you are clear and ensure that your messages are conveyed correctly.
