Do you want to help create a fair and efficient examination for SLU students?

As an examination supervisor with us, you will be responsible for ensuring that the environment for written examinations is calm and safe and that the process is carried out in a fair manner.

About the job

As an examination supervisor at SLU, you play an important role in ensuring that examinations are conducted fairly. You are tasked with detecting, preventing, and reporting suspected cheating, as well as ensuring that SLU's rules and guidelines for examinations are followed.

Your duties include organizing and preparing booked rooms for examinations, conducting ID checks of students, and providing them with verbal information about applicable rules in both Swedish and English. Examination rooms may be spread across campus, which means that materials and aids may need to be transported to and from them by you. Lecture halls with stairs may occur.

As an examination supervisor, you will also work with digital written examinations in the Inspera system and handle laptops with accompanying educational support programs used for adapted examinations.

The work involves close collaboration with examination coordinators and other supervisor colleagues.

Your background

To fit the role of examination supervisor, you need to have a pronounced sense of responsibility and service, be punctual, meticulous, attentive, and structured. You can set boundaries, take initiative, and work well in a team. You are comfortable speaking in front of larger groups, are social, and can calmly and clearly address people in stressful situations.

Good knowledge of Swedish, English, and basic computer skills is required. We see good computer skills as an asset since digital written examinations constitute the largest part of the examinations at the Ultuna campus. It is also advantageous if you have knowledge of or have worked with various functional variations, or have previously worked at a university/college or with examinations/university entrance tests.

You must be over 18 years old and not be an active student at SLU.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
