Gransäterskolan is a F–9 school with a strong student health profile and a warm and professional staff.

We have several special education teachers who together form a stable team where expertise is shared, questions are discussed, and development occurs collectively.

We are now looking for a special education teacher for a temporary position until the summer break.

About the role:

In the role of special education teacher, you will work with students at all levels F–9, based on needs and planning within our special education team. You will be an important part of a well-functioning work team where you collectively distribute support measures, exchange knowledge, and support each other in both pedagogical and organizational matters.

The work includes, among other things:

• targeted support for students in need of extra adaptations or special support
• individual work and smaller groups
• assessments, observations, and pedagogical evaluations (based on competence)
• collaboration with the special education team, teachers, and student health
• participation in action programs and follow-ups
• contributing to the development of our support structures throughout F–9

If you have the ability to conduct special pedagogical assessments, it is an advantage, but not a requirement.

We are looking for someone who:

• is an educated special education teacher or a licensed teacher with experience in special support
• enjoys working in a team and wants to contribute in a collegial context
• is comfortable meeting students of different ages and with varying needs
• works solution-focused and systematically
• builds good relationships and collaborates professionally

Meritorious:

• experience in pedagogical assessments
• work in student health or targeted support measures
• experience in F–9 environments
