We are looking for someone with the will and courage to make a difference for our municipal primary school in Enköping. The operations at our twelve schools are always evolving, and that’s how we want it. With transparency and openness, we strive to develop the structure of the school system as a new era requires methods and approaches adapted to the present and future. We are looking for someone who wants to actively contribute to this work. Korsängsskolan is a school with grades F-9 and approximately 860 students. The school is located in central Enköping with a mixed catchment area that includes both parts of the urban center and some rural areas. The school was inaugurated in 1948 and has been in operation since then, with renovations and expansions carried out over the years. We are now in an expansive and exciting phase as we have just gained access to new facilities adjacent to the current school. The school is popular with high demand, and most students spend all their 10 years at Korsängsskolan.

All activities in the school are permeated by the belief that "We have an uncompromising focus on the best interests of the student, which means one step at a time and always forward." We have a well-developed student health service with a school nurse, school counselor, and school psychologist.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guide and teach students in grades 5-9 who are enrolled in the Small Group.
• Collaborate with the students' mentors and subject coordinators.
• Be involved and proactive in the work of transitioning students to teaching in their classes.
• Together with your colleague, be responsible for assessment and other documentation of the enrolled students.
• Take responsibility for conducting development discussions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Teaching certification for grades 4-9 covering most theoretical subjects.
• Documented experience teaching in upper or middle school.
• Experience teaching in small groups is desirable.
