Hummelstaskolan is a F-6 school with approximately 250 students located just outside Enköping. It is a short commuting distance from Enköping and Västerås to the school. The workplace consists of about 30 employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You play a central role in the students' entire school day, following them both during lesson time and in after-school activities. This gives you a broad understanding of how each student and the group as a whole functions in different contexts. This holistic view allows you to adapt and plan activities that strengthen students' learning, social interaction, and safety.

• You design meaningful activities that enhance students' social development, creativity, and learning.
• You collaborate closely with the school's teachers to create a cohesive experience for the students' entire school day.
• You plan, implement, and evaluate the teaching in the after-school program together with colleagues.
• You contribute to developing the teaching with a focus on play, movement, creativity, and exploratory methods both indoors and outdoors.
• You are informative, clear, and maintain good contact with our guardians.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed teacher in after-school care or has equivalent qualifications or competencies.
• Has a pedagogical and relationship-building approach.
• Is structured, flexible, and solution-oriented.
• Creates a safe and inspiring environment where students thrive and develop.
• Previous experience working in after-school care is an advantage.
