We are looking for someone with the will and courage to make a difference for our municipal primary school in Enköping. The operations at our twelve schools are always in motion, and that is how we want it. Korsängsskolan is a school with grades F-9 with just over 800 students. The school is located in central Enköping with a mixed catchment area that includes both parts of the town center and some rural areas. The school was inaugurated in 1948 and has been in operation since then, with renovations and expansions made over the years. We are now in an expansive and exciting phase as we have just gained access to new facilities adjacent to the current school. The school is popular with high demand, and most students spend all their 10 years at Korsängsskolan.

All activities in the school are permeated by the motto: "We have an uncompromising focus on the best interests of the student, which means one step at a time and always forward." We have a well-developed student health service with a school nurse, school counselor, and school psychologist.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Pedagogical work in after-school care and primary school. You work from a holistic perspective where school and after-school care are important parts that together contribute to students' development. You will work to support students' learning based on the after-school care's mission both during after-school hours and throughout the school day. Focus on students' higher goal achievement throughout the school day.

QUALIFICATIONS

Teacher with a focus on younger ages and after-school care, Preschool teacher degree, After-school teacher degree, Teacher degree. Basic teacher degree with a focus on work in after-school care or teaching certification as an after-school educator.

We prefer that you have the competence and education to teach music in primary school.

You take initiative, readily start activities, and achieve results. You are self-sufficient and take responsibility for your tasks. You structure and drive your work independently.

You have a good understanding of how people acquire knowledge and the different conditions of individuals. You adapt the way you convey your message to the recipient.

You are relationship-building, outgoing, and socially active in your work. You create contacts and maintain relationships.

You collaborate well with others and relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner. You listen, communicate, and resolve collaboration difficulties or conflicts constructively.

You are secure, stable, and have self-awareness. You distinguish between the personal and the professional and act in a way that is adapted to the situation.
