Labor Market Secretary for FRAM

FRAM is a collaboration project between the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, Region Skåne, the Public Employment Service, and the City of Malmö, managed by the labor market department within the City of Malmö. FRAM targets individuals with mental health issues and aims to assist those who cannot participate in regular labor market initiatives through work training, wellness activities, and various group activities to move towards employment. At FRAM, labor market secretaries, activity leaders, wellness consultants, career counselors, and two section managers work together. The project also includes two administrators, two mentors from Region Skåne, as well as caseworkers from the Public Employment Service and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. We are now looking for 1 Labor Market Secretary for FRAM for a fixed-term employment.

Job Responsibilities

As a labor market secretary within FRAM, you will conduct assessments, planning, and provide support for participants in the initiative. You will be part of a team with labor market secretaries, activity leaders, wellness consultants, and career counselors who contribute to achieving the organization's goals through engagement and knowledge.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Guiding, coaching, and assessing conversations towards set goals for participants in collaboration with the referring authority.
  • Follow-up meetings with partners
  • Acquire external work training placements and follow up on these.
  • Responsible for the individual action plan and documentation in the operational system Procapita
  • Be active/participate in various practical and theoretical group activities offered by FRAM
  • Participate in FRAM's development work regarding initiatives and methods

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree of at least 180 credits in behavioral or social sciences, or another university degree of at least 180 credits combined with relevant work experience as assessed by the employer. The following is also required:

  • At least two years of work experience deemed relevant by the employer for the assignment
  • Work experience providing in-depth support to individuals with mental health issues to approach the labor market
  • Experience in acquiring internship and/or work training placements.
  • Experience in building contacts and relationships to create and maintain good relations with various partners and experience in establishing contacts with employers.
  • Experience working and documenting in digital tools

It is advantageous if you have previous experience working in a project format. Furthermore, you preferably have a large network within the business community, public sector, non-profit sector, etc., through previous experience. We would like you to have training in or acquired skills in motivational or coaching conversations and experience working with labor market-oriented rehabilitation, Supported Employment, MI, or similar methods. You express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing, and it is a plus if you have knowledge of other languages that are deemed relevant for the organization. You have good computer skills, and it is beneficial if you have experience with new digital tools such as Office 365, Skype, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
